The People’s Democratic Party PDP may have lost the baton to pilot the affairs of the country at the federal level but a strategy will be put in place to ensure their come back and now even stronger.
The former president Goodluck Jonathan had a meeting with the PDP’s Reconciliation and Strategy Committee.
The party-appointed former Senate President, Bukola Saraki as head of its national reconciliation committee conveyed that the is very much important to listen to the concerns of the stakeholders.
Members of the committee included one-time Senate President, Anyim Pius Anyim, and former governor of Cross River State, Liyel Imoke as members.
Others are former Gombe Governor Ibrahim Dankwambo; ex-Katsina Governor Ibrahim Shema and Hon. Mulikat Akande.
“As part of our efforts to listen to the concerns of key stakeholders across our great party, this afternoon, the @OfficialPDPNig Reconciliation & Strategy Committee is meeting with our immediate past President, H.E. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (@GEJonathan),” Saraki tweeted.
Earlier yesterday, it was reported that Atiku’s head of campaign group Otunba Gbenga Daniel had defected to the ruling party APC.
Saraki vowed to bring back the lost glory of the party and stabilize it to cater for all and a sundry.
