Makinde Assures Oyo Civil Servants of Equity And Justice


Governor Seyi Makinde has reassured the people of Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria, that his administration would continue to be just and fair without marginalising any zone in decision and policy making.

Governor Makinde reiterated this assurance at the 2021 Oyo State Productivity Day organised to motivate and encourage civil/public servants, held in Ibadan, the state capital.

Makinde, promised that his administration would create a new face in the state civil service, charging the awardees and their colleagues to be more proactive in discharging their duties and encouraged the civil/public servants who are not rewarded to buckle up ahead of the next assessment.

Earlier, in her welcome address, the Oyo State Head of Service, Ololade Agboola, charged the state civil/public servants to be more dedicated to their duties and uphold the tenet of civil/public service in order to equip the state with better civil/public service and also continue to support the Makinde-led administration to achieve its roadmap to accelerated development across the state.

At the programme witnessed by top government functionaries, civil/public servants and politicians, among others, 93 outstanding civil/public servants from ministries, departments and agencies were awarded.
